Preparing for the Big Ten Development Conference

In the last week of July, Bartha will travel to Purdue University for the Big Ten Development Conference. We are not only staging the event, but participating as the main sponsor for the conference. This provided us with the unique opportunity to showcase our creative production services as we prepared marketing collateral for the event.

Let’s Get Creative

From our first rental to our most recent production, we’ve always focused on being a trusted partner to our clients. As we’ve grown from our first traveling productions in the late 1980s, we’ve added more services and continued to invest in the industry’s best equipment. In 2006, we started our production team. They are dedicated specifically to the creation of creative content for our events. As you saw in our previous blog post Read more »

Carly Bevis: Natural Born Designer

Carly Bevis has been making moments count at Bartha for over two years. When you partner with us, you’ll see her graphic content come to life in your event proposal, theme and branding, logo design, and speaker support content. When you see her work, you can tell she has a knack for translating abstract ideas into impactful images. And while she didn’t always know she wanted to be an event designer, she has always had… Read more »

Payroll Professionals Journey to Nashville

Last week, the American Payroll Association hosted their 34th Annual Congress at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Two thousand human resource professionals gathered at the most comprehensive program on payroll education in the world. Attendees earned CPE credits, networked and celebrated the successes of their peers. Bartha’s event crew kept busy during the four-day Congress with two ballrooms, over 170 workshops, several association meetings and an exhibit hall in… Read more »

Giving Back for Earth Day

We spent a few hours on Earth Day, April 22nd, volunteering our time to a good cause. And because we’re all about partnerships here at Bartha, we knew we couldn’t do it alone. We teamed up with Columbus Parks & Recreation and Earth Day Columbus to provide helping hands at Beatty Community Recreation Center.

Return to Wright State University

Just a year and a half after designing Wright State University’s kick-off event for their Rise. Shine Campaign, Bartha returned to the WSU E.J. Nutter Center to produce a gala event to celebrate the campaign’s accomplishments. Although we were ecstatic to be invited back, we faced a bit of a challenge. How do we repeat the previous success of the kickoff event, keep the same branded look and feel, and yet create a new experience… Read more »

On the Road Again

Something that sets Bartha apart is our willingness to travel anywhere. We’ll follow you to the furthest destinations to make sure your event is sensational. So far this year we’ve made magic happen in Columbus, Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Mexico City, Nashville, Atlanta, Naples, DC, Madrid, and Cincinnati. Whether we’re ankle-deep in confetti in a ballroom, making sure your slides are on cue for the keynote or expertly setting the tone for your cocktail… Read more »

Seamless Event Production with Experience Columbus

Guests of Experience Columbus’ (Greater Columbus’ Convention & Visitors Bureau) Annual Meeting were given the opportunity to experience the city’s nightlife as they savored the tasty offerings from the city’s top chefs and tapped their toes to the music of Popgun. With so much going on, few attendees probably put much thought into the technical side of the event, and that is okay. It is actually a good thing if we went undetected; it means… Read more »

Put Your Production Partnership to the Test

February is all about love. Love for your spouse, partner, animal pal or just yourself. We’re all about the chocolates and flowers, steak dinners and heart-shaped jelly candy – but we also think this month is good for reflection. While you’re thinking about what makes your personal relationships great, we encourage you to also take some time to contemplate your relationship with your event production team. When it comes to checking the ‘Yes’, ‘No’ or… Read more »

The History of Bartha Timeline

A long time ago, in a Barthaverse far, far away, it was 1946 and Steve Bartha was just getting started. What began as a small business selling slide projectors, small sound systems and Bell & Howell film projectors expanded over the years to include rentals, installation and eventually staging. Steve grew the business over the first two decades on his own, updating inventory to incorporate the latest technology and building a reputation of being a… Read more »
