Payroll Professionals Journey to Nashville

Last week, the American Payroll Association hosted their 34th Annual Congress at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Two thousand human resource professionals gathered at the most comprehensive program on payroll education in the world. Attendees earned CPE credits, networked and celebrated the successes of their peers.

Bartha’s event crew kept busy during the four-day Congress with two ballrooms, over 170 workshops, several association meetings and an exhibit hall in need of audio and video support. To effectively manage all of the moving parts, Bartha’s production manager and event producer met with APA’s meeting planning team days before the event for a paper rehearsal and run through all the technical needs and cues of the sessions.

To set the stage for the APA, a 65-foot wide LED wall served as the backdrop for presenters during the general sessions. Bartha’s creative department embraced the event theme, “Join The Journey,” and illustrated city scenes for the LED. Utilizing conference branding, the team animated the artwork to provide video transitions between segments of the general session.

“The Bartha Crew crew was super to work with and the communication from the front of house to the back of house was seamless!”

William Dambacher, Director of Operations American Payroll Association

Bartha’s payroll journey does not end here as pre-production for the 35th Congress in Orlando begins shortly. If you have an upcoming event, connect with us to discuss event production needs and experience the Bartha difference.
