CHALLENGE
The NCAA sought to create a meaningful, branded, entertaining event with multiple segments — more impact with limited space.
- Multi-Use Space: Two annual events were consolidated to increase participation and enhance attendee experiences. To achieve a unified event, we sought to design a single, adaptable stage that could host both the meeting and the awards ceremony.
- A Brand Immersive Experience: Turned an elegant symphony hall into a fully branded event space that engaged attendees in the content.
- Award Ceremony: Strike a balance, ensuring honorees feel celebrated and recognized while maintaining the event’s overall objectives.
SOLUTION
The team tackled these challenges head-on with a multifaceted approach:
- Transformative Design: A scenic design featuring multiple lines of drapes, LED walls, and custom platforms transformed the theater, creating distinct vibes for awards and business.
- Compelling Video Content: Thirty-five documentary-style videos from over fifty interviews with multiple versions were produced, including customized animations, transitions, and lower thirds. This catered to various online and social media platforms beyond the live event for branded storytelling.
- Streamlined Flow: By merging two events into one, the team created a cohesive show flow and run-of-show, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for attendees.
