We spent a few hours on Earth Day, April 22nd, volunteering our time to a good cause. And because we’re all about partnerships here at Bartha, we knew we couldn’t do it alone. We teamed up with Columbus Parks & Recreation and Earth Day Columbus to provide helping hands at Beatty Community Recreation Center.
It’s important to us at Bartha to give back to our community. We partner with many non-profits on their events throughout the year, but we also love to get our hands a little dirty and give back in other ways. We are proud of the 2016 Bartha Earth Day Team and want to show you a little of what they accomplished!
Most of the time was spent picking up trash, weeding and mulching the playground area to give the kids in the neighborhood a safe and clean space to enjoy this Spring and Summer.
We also did some weeding and mulching in the front flower beds as well as the raised garden plots where they grow fruits and vegetables.
