Welcome Week at The Ohio State University

Welcome week is one of the busiest weeks on campus. The Ohio State University’s Student Life Department works tirelessly in their effort to not only coordinate the move-in of over 8,000 student, but also host multiple events on campus. To kick-off of the 2016-2017 school year, The Office of Student Life partnered with the Bartha team for event production support. Two days prior to the big move-in day, OSU hosted a training event… Read more »

Preparing for the Big Ten Development Conference

In the last week of July, Bartha will travel to Purdue University for the Big Ten Development Conference. We are not only staging the event, but participating as the main sponsor for the conference. This provided us with the unique opportunity to showcase our creative production services as we prepared marketing collateral for the event.

Two thousand human resource professionals gathered at the most comprehensive program on payroll education in the world. Return to Wright State University

Just a year and a half after designing Wright State University’s kick-off event for their Rise. Shine Campaign, Bartha returned to the WSU E.J. Nutter Center to produce a gala event to celebrate the campaign’s accomplishments. Although we were ecstatic to be invited back, we faced a bit of a challenge. How do we repeat the previous success of the kickoff event, keep the same branded look and feel, and yet create a new experience… Read more »

Seamless Event Production with Experience Columbus

Guests of Experience Columbus’ (Greater Columbus’ Convention & Visitors Bureau) Annual Meeting were given the opportunity to experience the city’s nightlife as they savored the tasty offerings from the city’s top chefs and tapped their toes to the music of Popgun. With so much going on, few attendees probably put much thought into the technical side of the event, and that is okay. It is actually a good thing if we went undetected; it means… Read more »

Be Noticed: Lisa Meadows

Details, details. From the floral arrangements she produced in her family’s shop to the large-scale events she produces for Bartha’s clients, Lisa Meadows has always been about pulling things together to create something amazing.

“It’s kind of a strange way that things came about,” she said of her career. Her early days among the blooms of her mom’s shop showed she had a knack for décor. That lead her to a position with The… Read more »

Be Heard

No Matter Where You Are.

How do you make sure an audience can hear what you’re putting out there? What if they’re in a huge, cavernous arena or stadium? Or a ballroom? Or an outdoor venue?

Each of these spaces requires different sound design, and our crack audio squad does it all, including at a couple of particularly exciting events in January.

Our hometown Ohio State University Buckeyes kicked off 2015 by… Read more »

But For Ohio State

But for Ohio State is the comprehensive campaign spearheaded by the Office of Advancement at The Ohio State University, whose goal is to raise 2.5 billion dollars by 2016. When the campaign kicked off on October 4, 2012, the amount pledged and collected to date was 1.3 billion dollars. But first, let us return to June of 2012, when Bartha was given the opportunity to produce the campaign kickoff as well as the additional six… Read more »
