With a history of servicing the Direct Selling Association industry dating back nearly three decades, this was our 13th consecutive year at the gathering of direct selling companies, executives, advocates and suppliers. At this year’s meeting, the Bartha team created an interactive booth to showcase our creative capabilities, from video and animation to event design and set fabrication.
The Bartha booth in the exposition area looked something like a jumbo-sized 8’ x 20’ two-page spread from a partially-completed coloring book highlighting the talented cast of characters who help make up the Bartha crew. While the majority of the display was black lines and white space, four of the crew members were pre-printed in color. These characters contained augmented reality triggers that, when scanned with an iPad, revealed video and animation showing a wide range of Bartha’s work.
Additionally, attendees were invited to help color in the rest of the display using oversized markers. It was an engaging way for attendees to tap into their own creative energy, even if just for a few minutes. It was also a great ice-breaker that led to lively conversations and plenty of laughter.
